I was going through some of the writings I have saved, this one is on compromise as Christians...the very reason I began this blog. As you can see it was written June 2006 and actually was 5 more years prior (2001) that the Lord began speaking to me about compromise. As I reread this I can see so much more clearly the "in your face" compromise as a nation, and more specifically as Christians. I urge you to examine yourselves; if your thoughts don't line up with God's thoughts does that mean YOUR thoughts are above God's? Do you have a better way? has our God changed His mind on issues that aren't "PC"? The answer is no, so then the response should be repentance.

I have not written in awhile because I have been waiting on the Lord in my distress. I feel yesterday that He had shown me what He was speaking to me and brought it altogether for me.
I get the opportunity to see very closely what is coming up spiritually; I see this because I go to college where the young men and woman are the next to come into power in whatever careers that ensue. Get ready. The attack on your walk has been coming and is coming even stronger. The spirit of compromise is hovering and getting a foothold because of rebellion toward God.
I am not trying to come off this strongly but I tell you this is a warning. About 5 years ago the Lord began speaking to me about compromise and He has been developing my wisdom in understanding in this area. Last summer He built upon that by showing me that this is a time for His people to get off that line. Since then He has continued to show me the importance of not walking the line of compromise that sits between God’s way and the world’s way. He has shown me the “extremeness” in the natural is also what is taking place in the spiritual. The Lord is choosing Gideon’s army so to speak. To be in an army there is training that has to take place. In the last days there will be a famine of being able to hear the word of God. Obedience is crucial now to be able to know His voice later.
Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the LORD. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, But shall not find it.
A few days ago I was in my medical ethics class. We had this big time guest speaker come to talk to us, he is has his Phd, teaches medical school and is the attorney that sues healthcare providers everyday for ethical cases. Long story short within 5 minutes of his lecture there he had told me that if I were on his ethics panel he’d kick me off. This was because I disagreed with him about intentions of the heart and assisting patients in suicide. (he was claiming that heart intentions don’t mean anything in our philosophical thought process…doesn’t the Lord look at our hearts? Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.) How far have come as a nation for me to be “kicked off” an ETHICS panel because I won’t help someone kill themselves? I wasn’t offended by this man, I was amazed at the direction we are heading as a country. This bothered my spirit and I have been praying about it. Yesterday I was praying for the Lord’s wisdom. He showed me a vision of a balance, on both sides was a platform, or foundation. On one side a man was on his face with the word “humbleness” above him, on the other side a man was running around building a tower (like the Tower of Babel) up to heaven with his hands, running around busy with his own agenda. I felt the Lord displeased with this service and he showed me the one man on his face in humility was being lifted toward heaven, God was drawing him close to Himself. The other man just got further and further away. Then the Lord spoke to me from His word:
James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Then the Lord reminded me of Mary and Martha: Luke 10:38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at *Jesus' feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."41 And *Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."
People I urge you today to examine yourself and see if compromise has slipped in, what are we “ok” with that doesn’t line up with the Word of God. We are living in special times and more than ever we need to know that we are not compromising our hearing of what God speaks to us by ignoring His voice today.

Compromise and deception is sweeping over our nation but God is moving very strongly among His people and he is getting ready to pour out His spirit in a different way, are you going to recognize it?
